I am constantly striving to be the best musician I can be so that I am better equipped to help others be the best musician they can be.

Solo Repertoire

Here are clips from my senior recital, featuring Franz Strauss' Nocturno (left), and Fritz Spindler's Sonata for Horn and Piano (right)

Performer

Red Brick Brass Quintet

Above is the Red Brick Brass Quintet's performance at the president's address to the university. Featured works are Fancies, Toys, and Dreams by Giles Farnaby, Pavanne by William Byrd, and Die Bänkelsängerlieder Edited by Robert E. King.

With this chamber music experience I have gotten the unique opportunity to rehearse in a purely collaborative environment, and perform at a high level. Not only for the university but for special events as well, including a ceremony for John Morris Russell.

Miami University Wind Ensemble

Featured in these videos are horn unison sections of Omar Thomas' Of Our New Day Begun, and David Maslanka's Give Us This Day respectively.

Miami University Brass Ensemble

I performed as principal horn for this ensemble, the video above shows my solos Leroy Anderson's Suite of Carols.

Secondary Instruments

Performance of Holst's Jupiter on Euphonium

Performance of original arrangement of the popular Top Gun theme for duet use with students, performed on flute and clarinet.

Performance of Mussorgsky's Great Gate of Kiev on string bass.

In order to model, and instruct a classroom of diverse instruments effectively, it is essential to be able to play on the range of instruments to better provide precise feedback.
